Prosperity Road

Set in the coalfields of Pennsylvania during the Great Depression and inspired by true events, Prosperity Road is a gritty, big-hearted coming-of-age story about loyalty, first love, and standing up to impossible odds.

Fifteen-year-old best friends Henry Valiere and Georgie Cruft rule their small town as leaders of the scrappy “Toe-Nail Alley Gang.” But when a ruthless coal company tightens its grip and hired enforcers terrorize struggling families, the boys are thrust into a fight far bigger than themselves.

Help arrives in the unlikely form of Sean Malone, a hard-hitting prizefighter with a dangerous past. As he mentors the boys, Henry hatches a bold plan to save their starving town—and prove himself worthy of the girl he loves. But as outside threats close in and loyalties are tested, courage will demand a price.

Blending the rough-and-tumble adventure of boys running wild in the woods with the high-stakes tension of a David-and-Goliath showdown, Prosperity Roads delivers cinematic action, rich historical texture, and deeply felt emotion. At its heart, it’s a timeless story of friendship, sacrifice, and the power of ordinary people to stand together when it matters most.
