What She Knows
She has a perfect life: dream husband, family, house, job. But she can only keep it as long as she never tells …
Recovered drug addict Franny Lyles has rebuilt her life in the quiet town of Orion, New York. There she finds solace in the arms of Joshua Barney, the town's hometown hero and widowed doctor, whose beloved wife, Cleo, was murdered eight years prior. Despite the Barney family's tragic past, Joshua is everything Franny craves: steady, loving, and kind. She soon becomes his wife and stepmother to his two daughters and settles into an idyllic life as a local pharmacist.
But Franny's presence in Joshua's life isn't serendipitous. She knows something about the night his wife died … or at least she thinks she does. Her memories, as an addict, are a series of blurry fragments.
When a mysterious person sends a cryptic text message, indicating they know what happened that night, it threatens to upend a life Franny has come to love. She frantically tries to contact them. What follows is a dark game of cat and mouse, and the only way out is to put together what really happened to Joshua's wife. But as the pieces come into focus, Franny begins to realize that her quest for the truth will cost her the only safety she has ever known.
What She Knows is a gripping exploration of deception, obsession, and the secrets that haunt a marriage.
