“Alexandrea has done what the fields of neuroscience and psychology have been struggling to do for years, to create a self-guided model for self-healing. This book is the next step in the evolution of neuropsychology and global healing.” —Dr. Chris Lee, Neuroscience Researcher and Educator, Biometric Health Analyst, CEO of Elemental Shift Consulting
“A delightful, must-read book taking you on a healing journey of self-discovery based on the interconnectedness between neuroscience and human emotions.”—Yanina Tsenkina, PhD, CEO of CYC Biomedical Consulting
For centuries, the landscape of our world has changed slowly and gradually. It has moved at a speed that allowed our human body, mind, and soul ample time to dance, play, and adapt to it. However, our changing world has accelerated far beyond what it was before, often leaving us feeling as though we must race after it in order to adapt.
The concept of Adaptive Therapy presents a novel solution to this modern, high-velocity problem. Instead of racing against the stimuli, Adaptive Therapy posits viable means to help people slow down, become more aware, amplify intuition, and change any perceptions that are misaligned with their environment.
In Meta-Brain: Reprogramming the Unconscious for Self-Directed Living, author Alexandrea Day reveals the critical path to adapting effectively to our world. With the understanding that our unconscious mind is the lens through which all events in our lives are witnessed, she presents tools that show the reader exactly how to take back control of their most sacred power as human beings.
Techniques will empower readers to:
Adapt to their surroundings instead of trying to manipulate them externally
Depict positive future outcomes for successfully harmonizing with the world
Provide new and groundbreaking mindfulness techniques to slow down time
Offer techniques for amplifying intuition and treating chronic stress
Successfully rewire the unconscious mind of yesterday to suit the needs of today and tomorrow
Adaptive Therapy offers a road forward to everyone who has felt like their environment has been changing faster than they can keep up with. By increasing our awareness, aligning with our own purpose, and understanding that we truly are all one, we can fuse the best of each and truly come together as one with our world.
“Alexandrea ‘jumps right in’ to a new realm of self-help in this book. Adaptive Therapy is the new frontier for mental health and Alexandrea is at the forefront!” —Ed Krow, Talent Transformation Expert
“Meta-Brain is way more than a book. It is a journey to the mysterious wonderland (hidden) between ‘Stimulus’ and ‘Response.’ In this current age of need, greed, and speed, human life is ceaselessly stretched between actions and reactions.Ms. Day coaches the reader to breathe easy and pause. Honest, articulate, and witty, she demonstrates her insights with anecdotes from her career-long practice in Adaptive Therapy. Life can be reinvented—any time—on a landscape of new beliefs and possibilities. I turn the last page, empowered and enlightened and realize that this book will not rest idle on my desk. It will now travel to my friends and family and change their lives too. Well, I’ll take it back. They will transform their own lives from mere survival to complete engagement. That is living life powerfully—rich with freedom, intent, and excellence.” —Dr. Pabitra K. (PK) Chakrabarti, JD, PhD, Patent Counsel and Technology Evangelist
“A delightful, must-read book taking you on a healing journey of self-discovery based on the interconnectedness between neuroscience and human emotions. Being a neuroscientist myself, I was very fortunate to work closely with the author and her team during the validation of Adaptive Theory where we used cutting-edge scientific methods to uncover the neural basis of the unconscious allowing us to open a novel path to emotional awareness and well-being.” —Yanina Tsenkina, PhD, CEO of CYC Biomedical Consulting
“Adaptive Therapy’s ability to reprogram the body’s stress response program brings a new wave of understanding to the field of CBT. Innovative therapy drives will increase well-being and reduce our risk of developing a stress-induced disease. Having individual control of one’s own stress response system is an innovation greatly needed as our world increasingly bears down on us.” —Lorelei Walker, PhD-MPH, Director of Public Health Training, Social Safety Initiative
Alexandrea Day has blended two careers—working as an Adaptive Therapist and Visual Technologist for over eighteen years each—to create a range of products that serve humanity. These include integrating self-awareness apps and EEG technology to support self-directed leadership, living, and therapy.
During Alexandrea’s eighteen years as a visual technologist, she produced thousands of corporate and event videos with her national production team. She also built software for a DIY video ad creation product that spurred a call from Google to visit their Silicon Valley campus.
Additionally, Alexandrea is the founder of IAffirm, a 501(c)(3) non-profit formed to carry out her legacy project: Ensuring that Adaptive Therapy will be sustained into the future, so it continues to improve the human condition. Adaptive Therapy was formed from years of study and her personal experience in neuro-linguistic programming. Her theories are that humans, similar to computers, can be re-programmable and thus can free people from their limiting beliefs, pave the way to change behaviors, excel in performance, and attain health and well-being—permanently.
IAffirm addresses the gap between medical and mental disease treatments, measures the impact of psychosocial events that cause stress, and provides evidence-based and effective treatment plans. This is accomplished through conducting research and authoring educational products for GenoEmote, the for-profit sister company that exclusively builds products for humanity.
