Author Biography

Wayne D. Overholser (1906–1996) was an American Western writer from Pomeroy, Washington. He won the 1953 First Spur Award for best novel for Lawman under the pseudonym Lee Leighton and the 1954 Spur Award for The Violent Land.

Ramiz Monsef

Narrator Biography

Ramiz Monsef has spent several seasons as a member of Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s acting company, and he is the playwright of OSF’s 2013 production The Unfortunates. He has also appeared onstage in New York and in numerous regional productions.
