While the crime families battle for power in LA, Dominic Salvatore and his elite team at the LAPD fight tirelessly to stem the rot. But their fight often seems futile in a force rife with corruption. Dom’s father, Ronaldo, is a deputy fighting to secure the border, but when intel arises about his missing daughter, he leaves Los Angeles for the desert wastes, to find her and bring her home.

Praise

“Smith knows how to deliver a powerful story.” Orson Scott Card, New York Times bestselling author of Ender’s Game

“A deftly crafted dystopian action/adventure novel that is made all the more plausible by the anticipated coming of a second Covid 19–generated Great Depression…A simply riveting read from cover to cover…Impressively original.” Midwest Book Review on Sons of War

“Much like Mario Puzo’s classic, The Godfather, Nicholas Sansbury Smith has created an elaborate and timely lens for us to examine family bonds. Sons of War brings us into an entirely plausible near-future dystopia to shine a light on sons thrust into circumstances of their fathers’ making.” Thrillerfix on Sons of War

“Sons of War is a super interesting take on a postapocalyptic story that had me staying up late just to see what happened next.” Brian’s Book Blog

“The explosive new Sons of War series is a harrowing and realistic depiction of what a second American Civil War and the aftermath might look like.” Fantastic Fiction
